The skies opened yesterday morning across the UAE, making pedestrians scramble for shelter from the rain - and forecasters have warned there could be more wet weather today.Rain was recorded in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah and Fujairah, although meteorologists said in all cases the precipitation was not heavy. The duty forecaster at Dubai International Airport said an area of low pressure covering the country was responsible for the wet weather. "The depression seeded our atmosphere with cloud. We had this band of cloud cover over the UAE and that's why we had the showers," she said. |
